Be mindful to attach a copy of the statement/notification received from the awarding organization. Funds reported or received without an attached statement from the awarding organization will be limited to use toward direct costs (tuition, fees, room, and board) as applicable.
Unless otherwise indicated in the award letter, outside funding will be divided equally between semesters regardless of how the funds are sent to AU. Please keep this in mind when figuring your bill for each semester.
Outside awards will remain as anticipated aid on your bill until the award check(s) is/are received by Student Financial Services. It is the student’s responsibility to follow up with these outside awarding agencies to ensure receipt of these funds. Students can view their account with AU on accessau.anderson.edu.
